Job Type Transportation, Management, Warehouse.Post-secondary education or have 3-5 years industry experience.Supervisory/management experience in logistics or manufacturing.Capable of handling multiple and changing priorities.Able to function independently, without direct supervision and as part of a team.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Effective leadership / team building skills.Responsible for covering shifts while shift management is absent.Responsible for accuracy and maintenance of all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Responsible for accuracy and maintenance of manual and automated changeover tools.Facilitate professional training and ongoing development of Materials Handlers and Clerical staff.Ensuring our Team Members adhere to all PPE Requirements.Providing a clean, safe environment for all personnel and visiting customers.Ensuring all work is performed according to company approved procedures, standards, and specifications.Leading and coordinating activities of workers engaged in loading and unloading trucks and in moving and storing materials or products.Covering open positions due to Team Member absence.Communicating, to the Group Lead, any gaps identified in the inbound freight flow.Servicing of both inbound and outbound expedites.Management of inbound freight compliance to customer plan.
As a Dock Supervisor you will be responsible for assisting the Group Lead with planning, directing, and controlling all available resources to ensure timely, damage-free loading/unloading of freight.
